Sometimes there are so many demands thrust upon us we feel inundated with too many tasks and not enough time. It increases our stress level, and it’s difficult to unwind. We have a tough time getting to sleep. We have too much on our mind, as we toss and turn. Then the alarm sounds and we start another action-packed day.

When the stress of life overwhelms us, we need to take a step back and breathe. We need to drop our burdens at the foot of the cross and rest in His arms. We need to pray with all honesty and cry out for help. God is there to comfort us, help us, restore us, and give us the endurance and strength to persevere.

We need to reach out to those we trust in our inner circle and seek their counsel. Fruitful Christians will speak to our hearts with the unconditional love of Jesus and help us get back on track. We are here for each other. We just need to humble ourselves and be willing to ask for help and receive it with gratefulness.

If we examine our lives, we can sort out the extraneous, streamline our agendas, and simplify our days. If we delegate, we can get more things off of our plate and put the tasks into the hands of those who specialize in those areas. It’ll create a better overall output and rejuvenate us so we can do our best on our tasks at hand.

We need to have balance in our lives. It’s stressful when work dominates and socialization and alone time shrinks. If we strive to maintain a healthy, balanced life, we will function much more optimally and effectively.

We need to take care of ourselves so that we’re not running on fumes as we climb each mountain. Quiet time with God is essential for perspective, nourishment, and rejuvenation. We need to prioritize our lives according to God’s economy. We need time with loved ones so that we don’t go through life’s battles alone. When we go through our struggles together, they don’t seem as daunting.

We can overcome anything by the power of God. We can be the support for our loved ones and express the ingenuity of God. He’s equipped us with His power to conquer each battle we face every day.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.” Psalm 34:4-7
