Encourage One Another
Do not neglect to meet with fellow believers.

Small group meetings can be a monumental place to grow spiritually. If we go to church sporadically, or only on Sundays, our diet of God’s Word will be minimal and our spiritual nutrition will suffer. But if we add small group time and private time with God, we will not only thrive, we will also grow exponentially.
The fellowship of Christians is powerful. Whenever we come together, we experience the communion of the Holy Spirit. We lift each other up, encourage each other, and minister to their hearts. Time spent with other Christians can be a wonderful time of spiritual connectivity and positive change.
The more we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, the more it becomes a part of us. The Holy Spirit rejoices when we indulge in Scripture and let it play out in our lives. We are what we eat. If we feast on His Word daily, we will continually grow in Him and become more and more like Him.
As we do our part in building our relationship with God, we will become so connected that we will hear His still, small voice. We will know His will and have Scripture at the ready for any incoming attacks or onslaughts. He will equip us for battle and we’ll have God and an army of Christians by our side.
So we need to be more than just a Sunday Christian. We need to allow God to infiltrate every day of our lives, in our personal time, in our small group time, and in our corporate worship. The more we walk with God daily, the more we will transform into His likeness. Then God will take us to another level that will bless us and yet challenge us some more.
Throughout our lives, growth is essential to become all that God intended for us to be. So instead of resist community, join in and reach out. Touch lives and pour the love of Jesus into the hearts of those around us. Make a commitment to God to live for Him, and He will incredibly bless our pathway with His grace, His love, and His power.
“We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:9-12
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked nor stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3
