Nothing Is Happenstance

Seize the moments and connect.

We build special memories by spending time together. Whenever we invest in relationships, we build bonds that can last a lifetime. When we look back on our lives, we remember those precious times that we spent with them. Then, when we are apart, we yearn for reunion so that we can continue to build lasting memories and deepen our bond of love.

God wants to spend time with us. He wants us to grow in Him and deepen our love and commitment to Him. He’s always there with wide open arms to embrace us with His unconditional love and grace. Whenever we spend time with Him, He refreshes, renews, and revives us. We come away from our time with Him changed.

As we venture out into the world, we carry that relationship with us. Everyone we intersect lives with may actually need the healing touch of Jesus, the unconditional love of God, or the power of the Holy Spirit. We may never know until we actually reach out and connect. If we pass the opportunity by, we may miss out on a lifetime relationship, ministering to their present needs, or leading them to God.

In God’s economy, we cannot afford to allow opportunities to slip by. We need to be aware of the people around us and believe that it’s for a higher reason. Nothing is happenstance. We need to seize the moments, connect with others, build lasting relationships, and impact the world.

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.” 2 Peter 1:5-7

“When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:36-38

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10
