Suit Up!

Put on the full armor of God and stand firm in the faith.

MORNING STILLNESS

Life is challenging. Sometimes we run up against walls that seem impenetrable. Other times, it’ll throw us curve balls when we least expect it. But if we are in ready mode, we will dodge the bullets, push through the quitting points, jump over obstacles, and land on our feet.

God wants us to be equipped with the armor of God to take on anything that the devil will hit us with. God wants us to rely on Him for strength and power, and He will deliver us. He’ll provide for us and empower us to do the impossible.

We just need to have a power breakfast on God’s Word and do the power walk every day. If we dine on His Word daily and follow His orders, we will be in ready mode to carry out the mission. We’ll be able to face anything, anytime, anywhere. God is with us always. We can stand on His promises and be resilient.

So go forth each day with the full armor of God. Let the power of the Holy Spirit empower you for greatness. Take every opportunity to further His kingdom and live your lives for His glory.

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:10-17

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever!
