Have you ever felt like Satan was attacking you from all directions? Your heart is pounding, and you feel trapped. You head to the nearest exit, but he’s hot on your trail. He’s relentless in his pursuit and you can’t shake him off. Anxiety and stress take over and you fear he’ll take you down. What can you do when you feel outnumbered, outsmarted, and overwhelmed?

The best thing to do is pray. Raise your voice in praise and thank God for who He is. Ask Him for help and He will show you a way out. He will rescue you from the grip of death and deliver you from harm. When circumstances are too much for you and you feel helpless, cry out to God. When you look around and feel there is no hope, look up.

God is with us and will pour His grace upon us. He will perform a miracle showing His power over all things. God’s got our backs and will shut the mouths of the lions that lurk in the shadows. He will deliver us from the evil one and make us victorious. There is power in the name of Jesus. Use the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We need not fear. He is with us and in us for all eternity.

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” 1 Peter 5:8-10

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6:10-17
